This dish is my husband's favorite. As soon as we're done with one serving, he's already getting seconds.

Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Break up the meat with a spatula as it cooks. Once fully browned, drain off any excess fat.

Sauté the Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté until the onions become translucent and fragrant, usually around 5 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning: Pour in the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir in the oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Mix in Cooked Rice: Once the sauce is thickened and aromatic, fold in the cooked rice, ensuring it's well distributed throughout the mixture.

Layer and Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a greased baking dish, spread the beef and rice mixture evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, ensuring the entire surface is covered. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: After baking, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
