Delicious! Nine years later and people still love it! I always get asked to bring it to gatherings.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat, and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sautéed onion and garlic, and frozen mixed vegetables. Stir in the cooked ground beef.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Top with an even layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
Arrange the tater tots (or hash browns) in a single layer over the cheese.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
