- Step 1: Crush the bay leaves and rosemary to release their essential oils. You can do this using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon in a bowl.
- Step 2: Combine the crushed herbs with olive oil in a small saucepan.
- Step 3: Heat the mixture over low heat for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to let it boil or burn, as this can destroy the beneficial properties of the oil.
- Step 4: Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for several hours or overnight.

4. Using the Herbal Oil
- Apply the oil to affected areas, gently massaging it into the skin. Use it once or twice daily.
- For best results, apply the oil after a warm shower to help your skin absorb it better.
5. Storage
- Store the remaining oil in a cool, dark place. A dark glass bottle is ideal to preserve the active compounds in the oil.
