2-3 avocado seeds (the more you collect, the more powder you can make)
A baking sheet
Blender, food processor, or coffee grinder
Instructions:
Clean the Seeds:
Rinse the avocado seeds under cold water to remove any remaining flesh or residue.
Dry the Seeds:
Place the cleaned seeds on a baking sheet. Let them air dry for 2-3 days to remove moisture. Alternatively, you can dry them in the oven at a low temperature (around 200°F or 90°C) for 2-3 hours until they become hard and dry.
Remove the Outer Skin:
Once the seeds are fully dried, the thin brown outer layer will peel off easily. Remove this skin to expose the inner part of the seed.
Grind the Seeds:
Cut the dried avocado seeds into small chunks with a knife. Then, use a high-powered blender, food processor, or coffee grinder to grind the chunks into a fine powder.
You may need to pulse a few times and stir between grinding to ensure even powdering.
Store the Powder:
Store the avocado seed powder in an airtight container, preferably in a cool, dry place. The powder should stay fresh for up to a few months.
